March Sing-Along in Midland Park – To commemorate International Women’s Day 2016 on Tuesday, 8 March. The theme for #IWD2016 is #PledgeForParity. We at Fikun Trust are using this day to draw attention to the plight of young girls in Nigeria whose education has been disrupted by the Boko Haram insurgency. The details for the event are:
Back2School Fundraiser – support our efforts to make the education of our #Hwollaza21 students sustainable. You can assist these young ones to continue their education by supporting us in paying their school fees, purchasing their school uniforms, books, school supplies and back packs.
December Theatre Fundraiser – live presentation of one of the most magical Christmas stories ever A Child’s Christmas in Wales.
October Independence Dinner – reflective and celebratory dinner on 1 October at Afrika restaurant on Cambridge Terrace in Wellington.
