November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is also White Ribbon Day here in New Zealand and in many countries around the world.
December 6 is Canada’s National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women. This day commemorates the 1989 École Polytechnique massacre.
December 10 is Human Rights Day, which concludes the 16 days campaign.
Wear your white ribbon. Pause, reflect, and take action to never commit, condone, or remain silent about gender-based violence.
